
Kelvin Bidanya is an environmental practitioner and community mobilizer with over eight years of experience in climate action, youth engagement and environmental governance.
He is passionate about advancing grassroots-led sustainability, forest restoration and inclusive development.
Bidanya holds a degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Nairobi.
He is an active member of OpenStreetMap Kenya, where he uses mapping as a tool for storytelling, environmental monitoring, disaster response and planning, and a contributor to the Global Chemicals and Waste Youth Platform.
As Programs Director, Bidanya designs and leads people-centered initiatives that drive green consciousness and meaningfully empower communities.
